Part of the core collection of made to measures “Tweed by Tom “for 2017/18 This is a new range of tweed suit fabrics that aims to offer the biggest choice in tweeds and checks in Ireland.Tom Murphy Menswear has a rich heritage and tradition of tailoring suits from the finest tweeds.In the 1960s it was known as Southern Ireland’s first and foremost retail destination for made to measure tweed suits.In those days the bales of tweed were easily sourced from local merchants in Cork city such as Perdix,Ideal weather proofs and Dripsey woolen mills.To commemerate this illustrious past we have introduced about 200 new tweed patterns so you will need to call in to see the full range.
The Blue and Yellow Country Check is a timeless country check blazer. The fabric is a heavyweight moss green tweed with a subtle blue and yellow check. The styling is classic with slant pockets and an outer breast welt.
