We are proud to be known as one of Southern Ireland’s original tailoring houses.Made to Measure suits for weddings has always been a speciality.To visualise your suit we will try to hold stock of some of these fabrics actually made up in the core collection of made to measures “Tweed by Tom “for 2017/18 .This will help you to see what the actual suit will look like.Tom Murphy Menswear has a rich heritage and tradition of tailoring suits from the finest tweeds.In the 1960s it was known as Southern Ireland’s first and foremost retail destination for made to measure tweed suits.In those days the bales of tweed were easily sourced from local merchants in Cork city such as Perdix,Ideal weather proofs and Dripsey woolen mills.To commemerate this illustrious past we have introduced about 200 new tweed patterns so you will need to call in to see the full range.
Tan Herringbone Donegal tweed blazer made using the finest lambswool fabrics with a contrasting red under collar. The styling is classic with a regular fitting, two slant pockets, a two button closure and an outer breast pocket.
